Inside the Vivaldi Museum, the room ceases to be a room. It becomes a shifting organism of memory and sound—an animated mapping where music abandons its score and takes shape as light. The Four Seasons are no longer heard, but seen. Impressionistic imagery breathes across the arches and vaults, melting one scene into another: the golden dusk of San Marco, the echoing vastness of a cathedral, the intimate solitude of a single Rock violin bending the very geometry of the walls. At times, the melody mutates into a heavy-metal pulse, and the outlines of the space quiver, distort, and reform like a fevered vision.
As always in my work, space and time blur and reveal their hidden mechanics. Gears turn like celestial clocks, not merely marking the passage of moments but summoning eras. Curtains drift in and out of existence—fragments of a backstage realm, half theatre, half apparition. They hint at the machinery behind dreams, the unseen staffage of myth and performance.
Masks – Carved in silence, they are guardians of secrets, symbols of the unseen histories of Venice, of Vivaldi, of the very stones beneath the projections. They speak of mysticism, identity concealed and revealed, of rituals that echo beneath the surface of art. In this immersive metamorphosis, architecture becomes instrument, music becomes memory, and history becomes a living hallucination.
